18th Annual River Run in ONE WEEK!

Street Dance Flyer

Can you believe it’s July already?  Why not join us for a bit of adventure?Street Dance Flyer

Our Annual River Run is only 1 week away! (July 20-22nd)  If you haven’t already signed up NOW is the time to do so!  You won’t want to miss out on the action this year.  It will be taking place this year in Prairie du Chien (Wisconsin’s second oldest city) located on the banks of the Mississippi River. With a lot of history and sightseeing, the event is going to be covered by Thunderpress reporter Felicia Morgan who will be along for the ride!

The River Run kicks off on Friday July 20th from 6-9pm with a street dance in McGregor, IA (just across the river from PDC)!  We have booked the live band American Standard and will be set up in Triangle Park right in the heart of this quaint small town.  Two cobblestone streets will be blocked off for motorcycle-only parking and the locals have been invited to come out and enjoy the evening while they “meet the bikers”. Local businesses will be hosting food and drink specials.

Saturday we will be doing or finishing up a poker run that is a 155 mile loop with beautiful views of the Mississippi.  At 6pm we will have cocktail hour, poker hands and a silent auction in the banquet room of Huckleberry’s. 7pm is a buffet style dinner of Chicken and Pork with salad, baked potatoes and baby carrots. There will also be DJ entertainment (Doc’s Ultimate Entertainment) from 6-10pm.

Sunday we invited everyone to join us in some last minute fun from 8-10am for our  famous topless bike wash… where the guys wash the girls bikes topless!  There will be lots of suds and great photo opportunities!

Lastly: we heard there are still a few rooms available (but they can fill up fast!). Hotels will continue to honor our special rate so be sure to mention Road Guardians when booking.  Check availability at Bluffview Inn, The Windsor or Super 8.  We can’t wait to see everyone!  For more information click HERE or e-mail Vicki at info@roadguardians.org
