Darlene has worked in the Respiratory Care field in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area for over 15 years where she focused on
children, then spent 11 years in the world of wound care. Now she has gone back to treating children with respiratory problems. Darlene got her first taste of motorcycling on a mini bike at age 12 and has been hooked ever since. She finally got her very own bike in 2004, quickly moving up to her 2006 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic ‘The Rose”. She puts 8,000 – 10,000 miles a year on her bike between charity work and riding with her husband and friends. Darlene totally believes that the more we know, the safer we can ride. This is what led to her interest in ASM in the spring of 2010. Darlene took her basic class and was so impressed that she signed up for the advanced class during the lunch break. She then followed up with instructor training in September 2010 and totally enjoys the opportunity to share this knowledge with all riders!
