February 2013 Newsletter: We need YOU!

Are you an EMT, Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, MD, etc?

Then you qualify to become an ASM Lead Instructor. We have millions of motorcyclists to serve. There are hundreds of thousands of EMS personnel. Yet we only have 120 instructors in 28 states at the moment. All instructors are independent, working very similar to how a CPR instructor works: either being asked to do a class for Accident Scene Management, Inc. or by booking your own. While we have two levels of instructors, Lead and Assistant, a Lead Instructor must meet particular educational requirements regarding their medical background. An Assistant does not need that background. Assistant instructors are allowed to teach as much as a Lead and have no restrictions, but may not teach without a Lead Instructor present for the duration of the class. Do you want to teach? Connect to or come to be trained as a Lead instructor! Team teaching is always best.

Many organizations are catching on and realizing that to train their own group instructor and to provide ongoing training to their members is a service to themselves, a service to their communities and a recruiting tool. Why would you not want every one of your members to be trained in proper response? Are you ready to help your friends in a time of need? Are they ready to help you?
