Larry Gray – EMT, Instructor Trainer and Lead Instructor

Larry PicThis is a picture of Larry and his son Hunter.  Hunter is a big factor in Larry becoming part of ASM.  Hunter is autistic, and Larry and his wife were on a ride for autism, when they met a few riders who were ASM trained.  Larry inquired as to what ASM was, and was hooked.  Larry has been riding since he was 6 years old.  He raced for local sponsors in his hometown of Hoffman Estates.  As soon as he was old enough to ride on the street, he purchased his first street bike.  Larry now rides a 2006 Harley-Davidson Night Train.   Larry is the Director of Training for the Illinois chapter of the EMS Roaddocs.  Larry assists in the instruction of EMT’s at Oakton Community College and is also an Amphibious Medic who goes around the country as a medical supervisor for the “Tough Mudder” and Spartan races.  The passion Larry has for EMS and the instruction of the same is unsurpassed.  Larry is also an AHA CPR/AED Instructor, and an AAOS First Aid Instructor. “Everyone who rides or is a passenger on a motorcycle should be ASM trained!!!”  “You don’t ever want to be that bystander that doesn’t know what to do, when the time comes.”
