New Online Course

Road Guardians and Be Crash Free Team Up to Deliver a Smarter Way to Learn

Road Guardians is excited to announce a new partnership with Be Crash Free to launch an enhanced online course designed to deliver a more engaging, flexible, and effective learning experience for riders. Set to be available in the coming weeks, this new course combines the strengths of both organizations to better meet the needs of today’s students—wherever they ride.

Flexible Learning Built Around the Rider

Road Guardians has long supported blended learning, recognizing the value of combining online education with in-person, hands-on skill development. This new course builds on that philosophy while expanding options for riders who need flexibility.

Students can choose to:

  • Take the online course as a stand-alone learning experience, ideal for riders in areas without access to in-person classes or those seeking essential knowledge only, or
  • Use the online course as part of a blended learning experience, followed by a streamlined, skills-focused, in-person session for hands-on practice and certification

This dual-path approach ensures that more riders, regardless of location or schedule, can access high-quality training.

A More Efficient In-Person Experience

When used as part of blended learning, the online course prepares students before they ever arrive at an in-person class. By completing knowledge-based instruction online at their own pace, students arrive informed, confident, and ready to practice.

This allows traditional full-day classes to be transformed into a focused four-hour, hands-on session, led by a certified instructor. In-person time is spent practicing critical skills, receiving feedback, and applying knowledge.

For students, that means:

  • Greater flexibility to learn at their own pace online
  • Reduced time commitment for in-person attendance
  • More time during hands-on classes for practice, feedback, and skill refinement

Stand-Alone Learning That Supports Ongoing Certification

When taken as a stand-alone option, the online course also serves as a valuable tool for maintaining certification and refreshing essential knowledge. Designed to reinforce current best practices, it allows certified riders and providers to review critical content on their own schedule, any time, anywhere. This makes the course an effective refresher for those looking to stay current, reinforce skills, and support ongoing certification requirements—without the need for immediate in-person attendance.

Powered by Be Crash Free’s eLearning Expertise

Be Crash Free brings extensive experience in building high-quality online learning environments for the rider training industry. Their role in this partnership ensures the online portion of the course is not just convenient—but thoughtfully designed to support real learning. Interactive elements, clear progress tracking, and user-friendly design help keep students engaged and accountable from start to finish.

Expanding Access to Life-Saving Training

By offering the online course as both a stand-alone option and part of blended learning, Road Guardians and Be Crash Free are expanding access to critical safety education. Riders who are remote, travel frequently, or simply prefer online learning can still gain valuable knowledge, while those seeking certification and hands-on experience can do so in a more time-efficient format.

This partnership reflects a shared mission: delivering smarter education that helps riders be better prepared, on the road and when it matters most.
