It was just another day in June. Nate took a route familiar to him from the motorcycle dealership to his home. No one knows what 
happened or why, but Nate was found near his crashed bike where his life ended that day. Since the crash was not witnessed, speculation is all we have to explain how this experienced Road Captain and Certified Road Guardian lost control of his motorcycle. Was it a mechanical issue? Did someone cut him off? Did an animal violate his right of way? Did he have a physical issue?
Regardless of the cause, the world lost a precious soul that day. What I remember most about Nate is his smile. In fact, I don’t ever recall him without a broad grin on his face. He was so happy! He had just gotten married to the love of his life, Dawn. He had a daughter who had grown into a beautiful young lady. I know there is nothing that can make this event hurt less for those he left behind but Nate was a proud Road Guardian member who supported Road Guardian’s mission to reduce injuries and fatalities to motorcyclists. He completed ASM training, carried a trauma pack and proudly supported the organization as a charter member. Though Nate lost his life that day, his free $3000.00 ADD insurance that was part of his Road Guardian member benefits was there to help his wife with expenses. Are you a Road Guardians member?
