Road Guardians 20th Annual Event coming soon!

River Road Fundraiser

We have a sponsor who has asked us to present the following generous offer:

The first two couples to call in (and pay for) their Road Guardians River Run event registrations will receive two free registrations to bring friends. Includes one year Road Guardians Membership! Call 262-706-3278.

It’s not too late. Rolling hills of the Driftless area, bluffs overlooking the water. Charming small towns and good food. What more could there be? How about a street-dance, effigy mounds and did I mention good food? Even though the Road Guardians River Run is right just 3 weeks away on July 19-21st, it’s not too late to join us. This is our 20th year of riding to raise money and awareness for Motorcycle First Response Training. Once a year we have an event that is now centered in Prairie du Chein, WI (PDC). PDC is a cute river town located on the Mississippi River. Across the river, on the Iowa side, resides a huge Pink Elephant that once was taken waterskiing as a political stunt and now sits outside of a riverboat casino. Just a couple of miles away is the town McGregor. All 5 blocks of McGregor is littered with history and shops you will be sure to want to ” Snoop” in. We are putting on a street dance with Backwoods BBQ and inviting the community to join us.

They will have motorcycle-only parking on the cobblestone streets by triangle park and the town folks will join us to say hello and raise money for the local volunteer rescue squad. A popular local classic rock band, American Standard, is being provided by Hupy & Abraham Law Firm. Hupy & Abraham are longtime supporters of Accident Scene Management and our mission to reduce injuries and fatalities to motorcyclists.

Saturday we will ride up and down the Mississippi & Wisconsin Rivers stopping to support local businesses, grab refreshments and take pictures. That evening we will have prizes, an auction, DJ and a buffet.

It truly is something to look forward to. Many of us go a day early (Thursday) to enjoy one more day of beautiful riding. We have a tradition – Friday morning we will go to Balltown to have pie for breakfast! Come join us, you won’t regret it!

Looking forward to another great time. P.S. We are still looking for renters for the birdhouse we picked up last year. Right now it is still unoccupied. Lovely accommodations are within flying distance of shepherd’s hook — complete with hummingbird juice, tray of sunflower seeds and other bird mix food.
