Vicki “Spitfire” Sanfelipo, RN – Executive Director ASM/Road Guardians

Vicki SanfelipoMilwaukee, WI – Known as “Spitfire” to her friends, Vicki is the author of, “A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist”. She established the non-profit organization Accident Scene Management (ASM) in 1996 in order to reduce injuries and fatalities to motorcyclists through First Response training. She continues to volunteer her time, serving as the Director of ASM. Vicki worked for over 25 years in a variety of settings throughout the hospital from Critical Care to the Operating Room. She spent her last 8 years working as an educator at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for the Department of Surgery. She became an EMT in 1999 to better connect ASM training to the EMS. Vicki teaches CPR, Defibrillators, and First Aid for the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. She also maintains an e-commerce site dedicated to providing safety and trauma supplies specific to motorcyclists.

She has been riding her own motorcycles since 1987. She co-founded Road Guardians, Diamond Posse, and Women in Motion. She is a member of many organizations including the Iron Butt Association. She has appeared in 4 books about motorcycling, hosted her own blog talk radio show called, “The Inside Scoop by Spitfire”, was the Motorcycle Safety Spokesperson for Allstate Insurance for 7 years, and is the Lead Medic for the antique cross country events, the Motorcycle Cannonball, and The Cross Country Chase.
