200 Series Blended Learning (BL) Basic

“A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist”

This class provides the same information and certification as the 100 series full instructor-led class. but is taught with a mixture of interactive online studies and hands-on skills that can be done either in person with an Instructor or through an online platform such as Zoom with a certified ASM Instructor. Anyone can take the online training, even as a stand-alone online class, but only those who complete both the 2.5 hours of online training and a 3.5-hour hands-on in-person course will qualify for ASM “certification.” This class does not qualify the individual for continuing education credits

The typical fees for the hands-on class (in-person or virtual) is between $60.00 – $75.00  (fees are based upon the location and # of students)

The hands-on class fee does not include the online class unless clearly stated. The online training can be taken up to 6 months before the hands-on class and includes a PDF of the book. Refresher
This class can be used by those who have completed the 100 or 300 series class and want to refresh their basic (most important) skills. This class also helps to prepare students for the Advanced class if some time has lapsed, and they are ready to move forward with Advanced training. Refresher students may take either the Online class or the hands-on in-person training. Of course, hands-on is preferred, but when that class is not available, online training will help you maintain your certification.
