Social Media Fundraising

Start an online fundraiser today!

One great way to support Accident Scene Management is to start an online fundraiser via social media.  You can choose to do this just because, or to commemorate a day that is special to you. Some ideas are the day you got your first motorcycle, a holiday such as National Ride to Work Day or on a meaningful day in honor of a loved one who may have passed (we would be happy to add them to our Memorial Wall as a thank you). Whatever your reason, we at ASM genuinely appreciate the support.  We are a small 501c3 Non-profit so any and all funds raised make a tangible difference.

Facebook has an easy-to-use fundraising platform that benefits Non Profit Organizations and will prompt their members once a year to host a non profit fundraiser for their birthday, we hope you will think of us and choose Accident Scene Management!  If it is not quite time for your birthday fundraiser and you want to host a fundraiser for another reason (or just because!), follow the steps below and get started today. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to ASM. If you have any questions or need assistance feel free to contact us by filling out a form HERE.

Steps to start a Facebook Fundraiser

Using a Computer:

  • On your computer, log in to Facebook
  • Click on the F in the upper left corner
  • Scroll down to fundraiser heart coin Fundraisers.
    • Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, then click See more.
  • Click Raise money for a Nonprofit and choose Accident Scene Management

Using a Smart Phone or Tablet:

  • Open the Facebook App
  • Click Menu (this will be on the top right for Android and bottom right for Apple)
  • Tap fundraiser heart coin Fundraisers
  • Select Raise money

From there:

  • Type into the search bar: Accident Scene Management Inc.
  • Select Accident Scene Management Inc
  • On the left, enter:
    • The goal amount of money you want to raise
    • The currency you want the funds to be in
    • When you would like the fundraiser to end (2 weeks for best results)
    • A Title for your fundraiser
  • Under “Why are you raising Money” there will be default wording, while not required, we highly recommend putting something personal here.  In order to get good response it is important to let people know why this is important to you.
  • Under “Cover photo” there will be a stock photo that you may use, or you may use one of your own.  Again we highly recommend making this personalization.  Feel free to share a photo of yourself on your bike, or your group, maybe a loved one who passed or even feel free to save one of the photos from this page by right clicking to save.
  • Click Create.

A message will pop up that congratulates you on creating your fundraiser. From there, you can invite your friends to donate, share your fundraiser in your News Feed, or donate to the fundraiser yourself.
