ASM Instructors are Trendsetters

Accident Scene Management

ASM Instructors not only demonstrate a passion and expertise by teaching Motorcycle Trauma First Response but they also  serve their communities with Presentations about How to help a friend in need.

Kathleen-RRconferenceIn July, Kathleen Bridgewater from New Jersey was asked to do a presentation about our courses to a group of 200 who attended Road Runner Magazine’s Touring Conference in Winston-Salem, NC. Kathleen and her husband have toured abroad with the magazine. Because Kathleen is an RN and certified ASM instructor she was asked to introduce those who were in attendance to what it is we teach and why motorcycle trauma specific training is necessary. RoadRunnerSceduleShe explained the most likely person to be first at the scene of a motorcycle crash is another motorcyclist and that it is imperative that we all know how to properly help a friend. She encouraged all riders to get trained, especially those who are in positions of leadership. Like many of our instructors, Kathleen loves to travel. Vicki TeachingIn July Vicki Sanfelipo from Wisconsin also did presentations at a large Women’s annual conference.  Women on Wheels had their 29th annual “Ride In” in Oconomowoc, WI July 7-9 and Vicki taught two 90 minute seminars to eager participants. In that short time she was able to take them through PACT and ABCSS of trauma. All participants were encouraged to complete a full certification program with hands on once they got home. It’s not too early to start planning a class for your group this fall or winter!
