Des Plaines, Illinois – I began riding 2010 after taking the 1st all women’s riding course at a Harley dealer on a mother’s day weekend. I love riding with my Widows Sons brothers and sisters on my Harley Davidson 2015 Softail breakout.
I am an RN with a Master’s degree in nursing and am board certification in nursing informatics. Early in my career, I worked as an ER and ICU nurse and after receiving my masters in nursing, I went on to clinical informatics. As a clinical informatics consultant, I have worked with various hospitals across the United States building electronic documentation. I have taught doctors, nurses and other hospital employees how to use and integrate the electronic medical record into their practice. Currently, I serve as a nurse executive for 6 Chicagoland clinics.
My interest in ASM started when I met the founder, Vicki Sanfelipo, through a mutual friend at my 1st Midwest Women Riders (MWR) event in 2019. After talking with her about ASM courses, I knew that this is something I wanted to get involved with (then COVID hit). I finally got a chance to take the course with Vicki as my instructor in June 2022 and shortly after decided that I would like to teach this class to fellow riders.
