Donald has been in healthcare for over 35 years. He started out as a US Army Medic at age 18. He retired in 2015 after a combined 22 years of Active Duty and National Guard service. Donald served a Combat Tour to Iraq in 2003-2004 as a Combat Medic. He has been a Paramedic since 1991. Previously he was a Basic and then an Intermediate EMT. He worked 911 EMS for over 12 years. During part of that time, he spent 11 years as SWAT Entry Team Medic / State Constable. He continued in that role after he became a Registered Nurse in 2000, working for ten years as a Burn ICU Critical Care RN. For the next 12 years, he was an Emergency Room RN and Paramedic at Ft. Gordon. He has taught numerous trauma-related courses for military, EMS, Law Enforcement, and nursing.
Donald has been a lifelong motorcyclist getting his first bike at age six; then getting his license at age 15 in Texas. He is a Life Member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and current Chapter Commander for his local chapter. To contact Donald: CLICK HERE
