Williamsburg, VA – Harold has been riding since 2003 but says, “I have yet to earn a cool nickname.” His first ride was a Honda ACE 750. He now suffers from a severe case of MMS (multiple motorcycle syndrome) with a BMW 1250 RT and a Honda Trail 125 in his living room (AKA garage). Harold has been a Paramedic since 2012 and an EMT since 2007. He is a Nationally Registered Paramedic, dual certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Ohio. He holds an EMS Instructor certification with the State of Ohio, and is an EMS preceptor and educator. Harold says, “After a career working the streets, working on an in-hospital rapid response team, being a NASCAR Jump Medic, performing as an On-track Paramedic for vintage, club, and professional events at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, and as a special Events Paramedic I hope to retire soon.” He loves to teach and has been an AHA CPR and ACLS instructor. Fortunately (unfortunately if you’re the victim), he has treated a lot of motorcycle-down patients. Competent on-scene bystanders are EMS force multipliers if they know what to do.
