Road Guardians Instructor of the Month – August 2024

Road Guardians Instructor of the Month

Teresa Martinez, RN/MSN – ASM Lead Instructor and Instructor Trainer, has been selected as our instructor of the month. Due to Teresa’s hard work, time, passion, and dedication to the organization, we chose her as our featured Instructor of the Month. Teresa has been an active part of ASM, along with the assistance of her husband, Ben since 2008.  The Road Guardians team appreciates her passionate efforts that started in Northern Illinois and extended to Arizona when she and Ben relocated to Phoenix. They also lived in Texas for a few years, where she actively taught before returning to Arizona. Read on to learn about Teresa as we share more about her journey with our readers.

A: In 2007, I was at an accident scene (doing medical support), and the rider did not know what to do. Since then, I have been teaching cross-country as an ASM Lead Instructor and Instructor Trainer.

A: If there wasn’t a curriculum out there, I was going to create one. After that 2007 crash,  I found Vicki at Accident Scene Management, and I found the Rescue Riders. I got actively involved with both organizations.

A: Sharing my passion for trauma and care of the critically injured with my Moto family.
