Greendale, WI – TJ Oman is a retired US Naval Officer who is a Nationally Registered EMT, licensed in the State of Wisconsin. He provides 911/EMS services for a local fire department and is a medical provider at the Power Train Operations facility for Harley-Davidson. Although the organization is no longer active, he was the Founder and Executive Director of THE VIPER RIDE and THE VIPER RIDE PLUS+; both were motorcycle events for Blind, Visually Impaired, and Physically Disabled military veterans.

He is an experienced and diverse instructor who has taught a wide array of subjects over the years, ranging from adult education classes at a local technical college to various engineering curricula in mechanical and nuclear disciplines. He also maintains national credentials as a certified firearms instructor.

Since first mounting a motorcycle over 55 years ago, he has ridden many different bikes and has loved them all. He enjoys riding solo or two-up with his wife.  He is working to get his dog to engage as a passenger in his side-car rig but so far the young Akita is showing no eagerness to get on board.

TJ currently serves as the President of the VFW Riders Group – Wisconsin District 4, the Vice President of Badger State Road Docs, the Safety Officer for the American Legion Riders Association of Wisconsin (District 4 & 5), as well as being an active member of the Silent Service MC and the Milwaukee H.O.G. Chapter. He is a LIFE MEMBER of the national Harley Owners Group (H.O.G), Road Guardians, and ABATE of Wisconsin. He is also a sustaining member of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) and an annual member of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA).

As an avid rider and a devoted safety advocate, he would both enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to train your group or organization.
