Lisa Malachowsky – ASM Lead Instructor

Phoenix, AZ – Lisa has been riding motorcycles since she was twelve. Her father taught her clutching principles, and off she went! Lisa became a long-distance touring rider and fell in love with the camaraderie shared between motorcyclists on the road. In 2005, After a 20-year career in the computer industry, Lisa combined that career with her passion for motorcycles. She took a job at San Jose BMW in San Jose, CA, and since has worked for Schuberth North America/Held USA, and Ride Now Powersports. In 2010 Lisa moved to Phoenix, where she changed careers again to become a Respiratory Therapist. Lisa spent considerable time exploring the back roads of Arizona and discovering the things other travelers had not yet found.

Lisa’s involvement in motorcycling is full-on. She is a member of the American Motorcyclist Association, the BMW Riders Association, and Women on Wheels. She completed an Iron Butt ride and has ridden in South Africa, Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Switzerland, and France. Lisa has written for many motorcycle Magazines. Lisa promotes Women and Motorcycling by attending and planning events, including a cross-country event celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the Van Buren sisters’ cross-continental ride. In 2021, Lisa started Dive N Ride Adventures LLC (www.divenrideadventures.com) and hopes to create a travel program for motorcyclists and scuba divers to dive or ride worldwide.

Lisa’s dedication to safe riding led her to become a Total Control Motorcycle Safety Instructor in California in 2021. She added Accident Scene Management to the courses she can teach riders so she can combine rider education and ASM education to keep riders as safe as possible.
