ASM continues to train instructors World Wide. No matter where you live, PACT and ABCSS of trauma are a logical way to approach a trauma scene. This Fall, 2013, New Zealand Launched their first class as an off-shoot of Accident Scene Management, Australia. ASMA president Phil Lemin said:
“I was recently in New Zealand setting up ASMA-NZ with Pro-rider, New Zealand’s largest motorcycle training provider and the course was received very well by the key people of the New Zealand motorcycle community that attended. New Zealand has a no fault accident scene for everything so no needs to sue anyone, but the ACC ( Accident Compensation Commission) is very pro active on training, they see that if they train riders they will have less crashes so it saves them money. They were at the introductory courses and are very keen on provided funded training in NZ.”
One of the students had this to say: What a great course it is one that I have gone to Ulysses National Committee to see about funding it for Ulysses members from our ACC budget. The first ones we will be putting through the course are all our RIC’s and TEC’s.
This is a great course well presented and well balanced good combination of practical and theory. Great visuals the trauma kit is a must buy item and now lives in my saddle bags. I have my sticker on my helmet and trying to decide what shirt to sew the patch on. Highly recommend this not just for the rider but pillion passengers also. When can I do the Advanced Course?
