A: Yes. There is good information in the Online Basic Course which will introduce or refresh your memory on how to respond and what your priorities should be. Of course it’s always best to complete the certification by taking hands-on, but you will still learn a lot by taking the online training.
A: If you watch all of the videos, check out all of the links, and complete the entire course it will take about 2 hours.
A: No, you can start and stop the class as many times as you wish.

A: Yes, you have 6 months from taking the Online Basic Course to complete the Part Two BL Hands-On for certification.
A: If you are a new student, you are required to purchase the ASM book (PDF or Hard Copy). This book will be your reference and a way to refresh your memory before your hands on class.
A: YES! Please contact an ASM certified Instructor in your area who can complete your certification with a hands-on class. The Hands-On course will take 3-3.5 hour depending on the number of students and instructors. We require one instructor for up to 15 students, and two instructors if you have over 15.
A: Yes, that is called Instructor Led (IL). You certainly have that option, as well as the blended learning option.
A: No, but you are welcome to do so if you wish.
A: If it has been many years since you took the training, there have also have been many changes to our curriculum. You should take the full class again, either Blended learning (BL) or Instructor Led (IL) if you wish to renew your certification.
A: Every two years you should complete an online course OR take a hands on BL Part Two course. Hands on is always best, but either one will keep your certification current. You can attend an Instructor Led class as well.
