San Tan Valley, AZ – RJ was born and raised in Arizona.  She grew up on and around motorcycles and though most of her experience was on dirt bikes, she recently added street riding too.  Retha worked in Public Safety for nearly 15 years in some capacity, first as a firefighter/EMT and then in law enforcement.  In 2020, she decided to take her love for riding to her new career and now works as a videographer/photographer for one of the largest power sport companies in the nation. She said, “However, I love working EMS so much that I have maintained my EMT license and work part time as medical standby for public events.” Retha lives in the Phoenix Metro area and looks forward to teaching ASM classes.
