Basic Online Course – Stand Alone OR part of Blended Learning Certification

You will have 30 days after purchase to complete your Basic Online Course.  During the 30 days you will be able to save your progress and can start and stop the course as often as you would like. Expect 2.5  hours total to complete the online training, assuming you click on all links and watch all videos. Your class includes a PDF of the class book. We recommend that you have the following items handy so you can practice along with the training:

• • • • • A full-faced helmet
        • Gloves, gauze, roll gauze, triangular bandage, pen, PACT card
        • Optional: CAT tourniquet

Completion of Certification

Online training will give you great information, but in order to complete your certification you will need to complete a Part Two BL Hands-On (200 series) class. The Part Two BL Hands-On can be done either in person or virtually and will require a 3 hour time commitment. Virtual classes are offered via Zoom and ALSO require the following set up and supplies:

Manikin for solo classes

Upon completion of the Part Two BL Hands-On portion of your blended learning, you will receive a framable certificate with 6.0 CEs and an embroidered patch for your vest or jacket. These patches are ONLY available to those who have completed certification.

Learn how to be a leader at a scene and work side by side with the EMS: advanced airway, roadside medical concerns, assisting the EMS with extrication, recognition, and treatment of injuries, femoral traction, detailed head to toe assessment, one person helmet removal, and how to recognize critical incident stress.
