Accident Scene Management is a 501(c)3 non-profit and we receive no government funding.  Any donation made to us is tax deductible. We are a grassroots organization that has been fully funded and supported by motorcyclists like yourself!

ASM was founded in 1996 and is the only accredited Motorcycle Trauma Training Organization in the USA.  Since 1996 we have trained over 40,000 students to know what to do at the scene of a crash before professional help arrives, with over 100 Instructors located across the US and several other countries.

So why do we need your help?  Since ASM does not receive any government grants we truly rely on the help of our fellow motorcyclists who want to make a difference and know the value of having someone trained to know what to do at the scene of a motorcycle accident.

How will your donation make a difference? 

Our biggest barrier with training students and potential Instructors has been location and time.  So many people reach out to us wanting information on how they can take a class and become trained.  Some have lost a friend or loved one and some have witnessed a crash and felt helpless, not knowing what to do to help. We have started to build online programs and create blended learning options to reach students that were otherwise unable to get trained due to where they live or when classes were available.  With our new online courses anyone can receive the information needed to be able to make a difference at the scene of a crash no matter where they live or what their schedule may be.

The process to become an ASM Lead Instructor used to require someone to pay for travel and lodging for 4 days as well as pay for materials which made it too costly and impossible for many. Recently we have moved our Instructor Training classroom time online and added Instructor Trainers across the US to make becoming an Instructor much more accessible and affordable.

Our goal in the next year is to have an ASM Certified Instructor in every state.  Your donation would help us achieve this goal by increasing our online presence and allowing us to advertise for potential Instructors in areas where we have none. Adding more qualified Instructors will result in many more students being trained.  Motorcyclists are particularly susceptible to more traumatic injuries than car drivers.  We want every motorcyclist to know what to do in case the worst were to happen.  We have always said we hope our students never have to use the training, but if they do it can make the difference between life and death.  Please consider making a donation to ASM no matter what the amount, having riders trained is so important and the life you save could be your own.
