Fort Atkinson, WI – Lys got her motorcycle license at 30 years old. Her mother thought she must have hit her midlife crisis! She started out by riding a Honda 750 Kickstart and soon graduated to an 883 Harley Davidson Sportster.  Currently, she rides a 2005 Heritage Softail Classic, which she says she loves!

Lys said, “My past nursing experience is vast and varied (AHDH at its finest). I’ve worked cardio, respiratory, renal, ortho, neuro, Psych, ER, and I ended up in private duty nursing because I find that as I get older, I’m less and less inclined to tolerate stupidity.” Currently, Lys works as a private duty nurse caring for a vent-dependent kiddo.
